How is this even possible at 7300 rpms without a huge final gear?

lol for a top speed like that prolly need a cx tranny. lol ive gotten my cx hatch up to 90 in 3rd at ~ 5000 rpm. quick someone do the math lol. id definetly try to not do that period in a civic on PA roads. ull go airborn on most of our crater sized potholes even at normal speeds.

edit.

just watched it again. is it possible the speed was in KMH? just a thought. still sounds nice either way

holy moly i bet his egts were crazy high thats was a long pull.. my dx tranny would go 115mph in thrid gear @7200rpms.. so 4th would prob get you to about 155 5thin a y7 on a transmission graph would put you @ 197mph @7400 rpm ... says exel.

Not sure, I got mine up to ~135mph before I let off. Too long in 5th for me.

i seem to hit a wall where i can't even get the rpms over 5500 in 5th. its not like hitting the rev limiter, it just won't go higher. i haven't tried it since turning up the boost from 7psi to 14psi though.

In my y8 at 16-20 psi it hits 125 mph like it is nothing.
